Dear Rev. Fathers,

Peace of the Lord.

Loving greetings from Bishop Jude.

This month of June, as we know is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We all believe in the Divinity of Jesus Christ. And so he is our God and he must be at the centre of our lives.

A god is whatever people place first in their lives. Some literally worship other gods like Rachel, by giving more importance to popularity, power, money or even work, etc. They are all substitutes that are never ever worthy of our worship or even devotion. They can never save us!! Rather such “little gods” are to be the instruments to reach our God who donates them to us for our salvation.

May we not build our lives around something other than our Lord Jesus and his kingdom. For that we need to recognize what is taking his place in our lives. The unconditional love of the Secret Heart of Jesus must be in the centre of our hearts!! Let ask pardon and allow him to take centre of our thoughts and actions to spread his kingdom. May our blessed mother Mary intercede with her son to let us devote more time to our ministries for the glory of God.
