About Parish
Alangulam Parish is one of the newly bifurcated parishes in the Diocese of Palayamkottai in 1996 from the Parish of Singamparai. Substations were taken from Tenkasi, Uthumalai, Ambasamudram and Singamparai Parishes. The first Parish Priest of the Parish is Fr. James A. Alangulam is in the main road that goes from Tirunelveli towards Tenkasi.
