About Parish

Considering the needs of the population of Kadayam and having sought the advice of the present Parish Priest of St. Antony’s Church, Karuthapillaiyur and Members of the Priests’ Council and considering the salvation of souls, I hereby bifurcate the Parish of St. Antony’s Church, Karuthapillaiyur and erect this new Parish, the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Kadayam with the rights of a Parish, according to the Code of Canon Law Nos: 515 and 516, i.e. of a juridical personality belonging to the R.C. Diocese of Palayamkottai. St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Kadayam is now constituted into a new Parish with effect from 5th June, 2011. Rev. Fr.Arockiasamy CSC. is appointed as its

St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, Kadayam is now constituted into a new Parish with effect from 5th June, 2011. Rev. Fr.Arockiasamy CSC. is appointed as its first Parish Priest.
