About Parish

Considering the needs of the population of Thalarkulam and having sought the advice of the present Parish Priest of St. Paul's Church and Members of the Priests' Council and considering the salvation to souls, I hereby bifurcate the Parish of St. Francis Xavier Church, Thalarkulam and erect this new Parish, the Church of St. Francis Xavier, Thalarkulam with the rights of a Parish, according to the Code of Canon Law Nos: 515 and 516, i.e. of a juridical personality belonging to the R.C. Diocese of Palayamkottai. Church of St. Francis Xavier, Thalarkulam is now constituted into a new Parish with effect from 8th June, 2013. Rev.Fr. Josephraj is appointed as its first Parish Priest.
