Diocesan Lenten Pilgrimage-2013

Dear Rev.Frs, Srs and Bros,
I am happy to give you the following information regarding our Diocesan Lenten Pilgrimage to be held on Sunday 17th March 2013 at Thirumalapuram, Sendamaram Parish.

2.30 pm -Rosary (Animated by Tenkasi Vicariate)
3.00 pm -Celebration of the Sacraement of Reconciliation (Animated by Kovilpatti Vicariate)
4.30 pm - Way of the Cross (Conducted by Ambai Vicariate)
5.30 pm - Holy Eucharist Presided over by our beloved Bishop Rt. Rev. A. Jude Paulraj, D.D (Animated by Palayamkottai Vicariate)

Ground arrangements, parking, sound and light, Bread and water distribution, medical care, volunteers etc will be looked after by Sankarankoil Vicariate.

May I ask the parish priests to bring their parishioners with maximum number possible for the pilgrimage. And I request all the priests to sit in the Confessional during the celebration of the sacrament of Reconciliation.

• Supper will be served for Rev. Frs, Srs and Bros at St. Antony's Community Hall, Thirumalapuram.
• Bread and water will be served for all pilgrims. There will be five stalls carrying the names of the Vicariates, and accordingly people can go and collect their Bread and Water.
• Volunteers will help the vehicles to be parked orderly and safely.
• Facilities of Drinking water, Toilettes and First Aids are available.
• The Parish priests are requested to give the number of participants from their parish to the Vicar General over the phone latest by 15th March.
