His Holiness Pope Francis has appointed His Grace Most Rev. Thomas Menamparampil, SDB, Archbishop Emeritus of Guwahati, as Apostolic Administrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the diocese of Jowai.
His Grace Most Rev. Benedict John Osta, the Archbishop Emeritus of Patna, passed away on 30.01.2014. He was 82.
